We arrived at sunny Alba in Piemonte on Wed 25th September. On the way from airport we already visited the Braida wine estate, widely known for its crisp and refreshing white wines and complex reds. The founder Giacomo Bologna is a legend and will always be remembered as the father of great Barbera. Son Beppe and daughter Raffaella, winemakers, continue to apply the same principles in the production of wines.
In the afternoon we were finally at Alba and our hotel Savona situated in the very centre of the town. We closed the day at ristorante Enoclub with the delicious four-course dinner containing many Italian specialities like vitello tonnato.
I think it's wonderful to travel with people who have same passion. This time for food and traveling.
