How do you celebrate Christmas? What do you have for Christmas dinner?
We will have this time turkey. And as a desert we will have prunemousse.
Here is the recipe:
1 package dried prunes (500g)
500 g curd
1/2 bottle dry white wine
cinnamon,ground cloves, ground star anise
1 dl milk
sugar
0,4 l double cream
the juice of 1 lime
0,5 dl brandy
roast almond chips
Put the prunes, white wine, cinnamon, clove and star anise in a pan and cook it for 30
minutes on a low heat, then blend it smoothly. In the mean time whisk the double cream.
Mix the curd and the milk smoothly and add some sugar in it . Put this mixture and the whisked
cream together add the lime juice and the brandy and leave in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Before serving put the roast almonds chips on top of it.
Enjoy it.

  1. It was interesting story:How does the French celebrates Christmas? Those foods are too complicated and laborious for me, but nice to know how traditions are made in France.
I like to make deserts. I'm sure that I'll try your recipe. I copied it already to myself.
